Symposium

In 1999 an interdisciplinary symposium was held in Hanover. More than twenty speakers, who have worked extensively in the field of biliary atresia discussed new aspects and innovations in treatment and research on biliary atresia.

It is our intention to keep you informed in detail of the results of the different research groups. The reports are subdived into four parts: etiology & basic research, diagnosis & therapy, portoenterostomy and liver transplantation.
